T20 World Cup : West Indies beat England by 8 wickets

West Indies smashed England by eight wickets and won the game through the second round in rain-affected ICC World Twenty20 Group D match in Guyana on Monday.

West Indies 60-2, 5.5 overs

A smashing hit by Eoin Morgan (55) and Luke Wright with 45 not out takes England to an impressive score 191/5 to chase the victory.

After the rain stop, West Indies began with a revised target of 60 in six overs, under the Duckworth/Lewis method

England began with an impressive start as with Michael Lumb and Craig Kieswetter while Lump took 16 off one Ravi Rampaul over.

However, Shivnarine Chanderpaul with his (15 ) and Andre Fletcher (12)  not out’s  put their score on high mark  with a ball to spare as they scored the eight runs which they were looking off at the last over, from fast bowler Stuart Broad.

Though, Morgon played on a remarkable note with just 35 balls and struck three sixes and six fours and the fatest bowler Rampaul’s took a costly 52 runs in total in 3 overs.
